Adult Forum Bible Study will also resume on Sunday, September 13, 2013, at 10:15 in the St. John Conference Room. During the fall, we will focus on the story of Abraham as it appears in Genesis and is reflected in other Old Testament and New Testament scripture. Lay instructor David Moore will again lead our classes.

A class schedule is now available in the church office, and will be sent to previous class members. If you send an e-mail to dmoore@nowlan.com, you will be informed by e-mail as plans are finalized.

We will not be using a published Bible study for this course, but your instructor will be drawing upon a newly-published work to assist in preparing for our classes. The book is Abraham – The Story of a Life, by Joseph Blenkinsopp (William B. Eerdmans Pub. Co., 2015). There are other resources that may be more accessible and available on-line. And, you may want to read through the Book of Genesis, with particular focus on Chapter 11, verse 27, through Chapter 25, verse 11. All are welcome to our Bible study.
