Freedom Fest will be held on July 1, 10 am to 10 pm at New Life Assembly of God, 2416 N Wright Rd, Janesville. This family-friendly event includes a variety of exhibits and booths, food, carnival rides, a fireworks display, and musical performances by Christian music artists. There is no cost for admission, parking, rides, concert or fireworks. Food vendor’s prices are discounted.

The festival includes the Day of Compassion from 10 am to 2 pm, with free glucose, cholesterol and blood pressure screenings and physicians available to discuss the results. There will also be a presentation of “The Compassion Experience” that recreates the journey of a child who is sponsored by Compassion.
