The Congregation Council of St. John Lutheran Church met last night to discuss plans for worship services. The decision was made to return to two Sunday morning worship services, 9:00 and 10:30 a.m., with reservations required and limited capacities. It is hoped that the two services will meet the needs of worshipers at this time. Thursday 1:30 p.m. services will continue as usual, no reservations required, unless we approach the attendance capacity.

The Council is continuing to work on a plan that will coordinate with the Rock County Dashboard Phases, to include attendance limits, reservations, and perhaps singing. The result of that work will be made available when complete.

Regarding Christmas Eve Worship services, the plan is similar. Worship will be offered at 1:30, 4:00, and 6:30 p.m., December 24, with attendance limits and reservations required. Reservations are needed in order not to exceed our safe seating capacity.

All of this is effective beginning December 6, so those who desire to worship this weekend must call Pastor Bond, (608) 208-0283. He will be the only one keeping the reservations for worship services. Sunday morning reservations will be taken only one week in advance. Please remember that if you reserve a place, that may prevent someone else from attending worship so please keep your appointment or call as soon as possible to cancel. In order to continue planning for Christmas Eve, reservations for December 24th can be made now.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding in these matters.
