Thanks to all who participated in Janesville CROP Hunger Walk. St. John Lutheran Church had twenty-two walkers this year, and we exceeded our congregational goal for fund raising. Through support of walkers and alternative gifts during Easter, the congregation raised $6461.00 Thanks to a generous gift of the Foundation, St. John’s total 2019 support to Church World Service’s Janesville CROP Hunger Walk was over $10, 000. Those funds assist in feeding the hungry around the world, and in our own community. Remember that 25% of the total funds raised supports ECHO. Thank you to all who were walkers, fund-raisers, and generous supporters!
