Help ECHO distribute food for Thanksgiving meals to low-income Janesville residents.

ECHO has distributed Thanksgiving food baskets since 1975 to Janesville families.  By volunteering you can help an individual or family pick out their turkey, stuffing, baked goods, and other important Thanksgiving sides.  To receive a Thanksgiving basket, people must sign-up in advance and be a Janesville resident. When they pick up the basket they need to show proof of their income, a current utility bill and a photo identification.

Brown paper bags can be picked up at the ECHO office for youth groups/organizations to decorate for the event.  Please bring decorated bags back to the ECHO office by November 20th.

Volunteer bakers needed to make cookies or bars to be included in the Thanksgiving baskets.  Drop off pre-packaged cookies and bars (1 dozen per ziplock bag) at the Rock County Fairgrounds on Saturday, November 21st between 8am and 9:30am.

Basket Distribution is on Saturday November 21st starting at 10 am (Packing begins at 8 am) at the Rock County Fairgrounds.

Contact the ECHO office for more information on how to volunteer at (608) 754-5333

Donations are welcome as each basket costs $30 to put together. To cover the cost, the organization will need to raise $30,000

Check out EchoJanesville.org for information on how to donate.
