WORSHIP—Regular Worship Times:

  • Thursday, 1:30 p.m., Holy Communion (spoken, simple)
  • Sunday, 9:00 a.m., Holy Communion (spoken)
  • Sunday 6:30 p.m., Holy Communion (spoken, minimalistic)

Saint John Lutheran Church has always been open for worship.
But here is a summary of current (10/11/20) conditions:

  • Only one worship service Sunday morning—9:00.
  • No reservations necessary for any services.
  • No limit to attendance until physically distanced capacity met.
  • Seating in designated pews with household members.
  • Face coverings required.
  • No singing by the assembly.
  • There will be organ or piano music, and occasionally recorded musical offerings.
  • Thursday afternoon (1:30 p.m.) continues as the day-time mid-week alternative.
  • Sunday night (6:30 p.m.) remains the minimalist service.

Opportunities for viewing the worship service include:

  • A recording of live worship can be viewed on Sundays at 9:00am on the congregation’s Facebook
    www.facebook.com/sjlc.elca/
  • A video recording of the Sunday worship service, with music accompaniment, is available for viewing at your convenience, usually by Monday morning, at your congregation’s web-site, www.sjlc-elca.org
  • The worship service is broadcast on JATV, cable channel 994, one week delayed on Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
