In order for us to maintain the directive for only up to ten people, one must call and talk to the pastor to make a reservation. If you do not call in advance, you may find the doors locked.

Worship services planned for the Fifth Week of Lent include:

Sunday morning, March 29, 2020, Holy Communion, with organ accompaniment.

Wednesday evening, April 1, 2020, Holy Communion, spoken.

Thursday mid-day, April 2, 2020, Holy Communion, spoken.

If the desire for Sunday morning attendance exceeds ten, an additional time will be set for Sunday morning, so call for information. Please enter only through the office parking lot worship entrance and follow the directions once inside. We will maintain “social distancing” to keep everyone as safe as possible. Of course, of you are ill, at increased risk of contracting Covid-19, or in danger of complications from it, please stay home.

Even if you must remain at home, you are encouraged to dedicate a time to prayerfully join in the Church’s worship. It is our hope to stream the in-person worship service on the congregation’s Facebook page, www.fb.me/sjlc.elca . So, check there at 9:00 a.m. Sunday. Additionally, a recording of the worship service is broadcast Sundays at 9:00 a.m. on Janesville cable TV, JATV 994 (usually one week delayed), or on demand through the congregation’s website, www.sjlc-elca.org . Just click the box reading, “View Worship Services.”
