When natural disaster strikes or political conflict flares, families often have little chance to gather supplies before fleeing danger or they arrive in refugee camps dirty from travel. Simple items like soap help them wash away dirt and are a reminder of someone’s care and concern for them. This month, we will have a metal tub in the Narthex for an offering of bar soap.

Please bring an individually packaged bath size bar of soap (or several!) to church with you and place it in the tub! A cash donation of $11.60 will ship 18 pounds of soap to LWR! Just be sure to mark the envelope “LWR Soap”. Thank you for your kindness to our brothers and sisters in need.
