Thanks to many hours of hard work and amazing sewing skills, our Quilters Group was able to ship 120 quilts(!!!) to Lutheran World Relief this week. The quilts were delivered to the Madison Railyard on Saturday, September 14th, to begin their journey to eagerly waiting hands.

Your generous donations toward the cost of shipping the quilts have totaled $127.00 to-date. It costs $2.25 to ship each quilt, so if you’d like to contribute to this fund, it’s not too late! Donations may be made by using a pew envelope, just write “Quilts” on the envelope and in the memo line of your check. Checks should be made out to “St John Lutheran Church” in order to qualify for matching funds. Thank you for your generosity!
