Together in Faith

As part of Saint John Lutheran Church’s children, youth, and family ministries, the educational opportunities of Together in Faith will be led by Pastor Bond.

Together in Faith is—

—A time for parents and children from age three to grade five to share an educational hour two or three times a year.

—A stepping-stone curriculum of basics (Bible, Prayer, Worship) that builds each year to nurture a living growing faith.

—A unique program that engages parents and children in memory-making play and life-long traditions.

—An experience that draws parents and children close to each other in their faith and encourages them to make time for faith activities at home.

—A time to prepare children for leadership roles in worship that corresponds with their current learning and skills.

Parents and children will have a great time at special Together in Faith sessions.  Come and enjoy the laughter, special moments, and spending time together as you and your child grow closer in faith. The lasting memories you create will warm your home for years to come! Below are some dates for upcoming sessions. Each child in attendance must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents should call the congregation office (752-3159) to register at least one week before the first session they plan to attend so that materials can be prepared in advance. Fourth Graders and Parents attend “The Apostles’ Creed”: 2:00-3:00 p.m., Sundays, January 10, 17 and 24, 2016.

Fourth Graders lead the Apostles’ Creed during worship: 9:00 a.m., Sunday, January 31, 2016.

Second Graders and Parents attend “What’s Fair”: 2:00-3:00 p.m., Sundays, February 21 and 28, 2016.

Second Graders recite a Bible verse during worship: 9:00 a.m., Sunday, March 6, 2016.

Third Graders and Parents attend “Opening the Bible”: 2:00-3:00 p.m., Sundays, April 3, 10 and 17, 2016.

Third Graders read the Bible lessons during worship: 9:00 a.m., Sunday, April 24, 2016.

4-Year-Olds and Parents attend “The Keys”: 2:00-3:00 p.m., Sundays, May 15 and 22, 2016.

4-Year-Olds lead “Sorry & Forgive Others” during worship: 9:00 a.m., Sunday, May 29, 2016.
