Our Quilters Group is in need of several sturdy, reliable sewing machines to be used in making quilts for Lutheran World Relief. They don’t need to be fancy, computerized machines; a machine that does a straight stitch and a basic zigzag stitch would be perfect! Their current machines have a lot of miles on them and are failing faster than they can get them repaired! Donations of clean, reliable machines or cash donations to be used toward buying used machines would allow them to continue their mission to provide quilts to LWR and would be gratefully accepted!

Please contact the church office at 752-3159 if you have a machine that you would consider donating and we’ll have the ladies contact you. Monetary donations may be dropped in the collection plate in an envelope labeled for “Quilters’ machines” and we will be sure that they receive it.
