Wondering why there are all of those shoeboxes in the Narthex?  The Social Ministry Planning Group is launching a new project in coordination with ECHO.  We will be askng members of the congregation to fill a shoebox with emergency personal hygiene supplies to be given to transient or homeless people who come to ECHO for help.  There will be four types of boxes for a variety of users:  men, women, and boy or girl children.  Each wrapped box has a list of suggestions inside.  Please take one for your family and fill it with the items listed.  If you can think of something else and it fits, go ahead and include it.  Tape the list on the box top and return the filled box to church.  We will deliver them to the ECHO office for distribution.  Thank you in advance for your generosity and for taking this opportunity to be God’s Hands in the World.
