We give thanks to God and to Pastor Lynn Peterson for her ministry with us. Pastor Peterson has served as our part-time visitation pastor for the past year, and her ministry has been well received. She is concluding her ministry with St. John Lutheran Church at the end of May 2017. She has indicated that she has enjoyed caring for members for the congregation, but has decided to move forward in a different direction. We pray for God’s continued blessings upon her wherever she is led. Thank you, Pastor Peterson, for your ministry!

We will begin again to look for a visitation pastor to serve with St. John Lutheran Church. Additionally, if any faithful believer of the congregation feels called to our Home Communion Ministry, which is an important connection between our shut-ins and the worshiping congregation, please let Pastor Bond know.
