A house divided against itself cannot stand.\u00a0Jesus makes this observation in light of\u00a0charges that he is possessed. He is\u00a0possessed, not by a demon, but by the\u00a0Holy Spirit. We who have received the Holy\u00a0Spirit through baptism have been joined to\u00a0Christ’s death and resurrection and knit\u00a0together in the body of Christ. Those with\u00a0whom we sing and pray this day are sisters\u00a0and brothers of the Lord. With them we go\u00a0forth in peace to do the will of God.<\/p>\n
