Beginning next week, on December 12th, ECHO will be setting up for their annual Christmas Toy Drive and Distribution. The Distribution will be held on December 19th, 2018 at St John Lutheran Church in Friendship Hall. Unwrapped toys and gifts for babies through teens and cash gifts (ECHO will do the shopping!) are all welcome!

Drop off new, unwrapped toys at the ECHO Office or in the big, red box in the St John Lutheran Church Narthex. Donations will be accepted through December 18th. Holiday wrapping paper is also needed and can be dropped off at the same locations. Cash donations are also gladly accepted. Please make out checks to “St John Lutheran Church” so that your gift will be eligible for matching funds from the SJLC Foundation.

Last year, ECHO provided 566 children with Christmas toys. They also distributed Christmas trees and decorations to 107 families, who would not have had these holiday extras. Please be a part of the ECHO holiday tradition of helping our neighbors! Many volunteers are needed. Come for an hour or come for the day! If you would like to be a Santa’s helper or help with set-up, call Fran at 754-5333 to schedule a time.

The Toy Distribution will take place on December 19, 2018 by appointment at St John Lutheran Church. Pre-registration is required BEFORE December 14th.

You must bring a photo ID, current utility bill, and proof of income for the entire household.
