poinsettia[1]One of the long-standing Christmas traditions here at St John Lutheran Church is to take Christmas poinsettias to our homebound members, who are not able join us here in the sanctuary for Christmas.  This year we have forty plants to deliver!  We need adult and student volunteers who can deliver one plant, or several, between December 25th and December 30th.

If you are a Sunday School or Confirmation Student who would like to help with this ministry, please contact Judi Magnus at 752-9991 or call the church office at 752-3159.  Judi will be driving students to deliver plants to homebound members at 1:00 pm on December 28, 29, and 30th.  Volunteers will meet at the church at 1:00 pm to start their delivery route.

Please sign up in advance so we can plan for enough seats in the van.  Adult volunteers may take plants after the 10:00 pm service on December 24th, after Worship on December 27th, or during office hours beginning on December 28th.  Take a plant, choose a name tag with an address from the display board, and away you go!  Please help us to continue this caring tradition!
